Attended an eight week part time workshop on personality
Development in Discover Yourself conducted by the extension wing
of the institute for Yoga and Consciousness: Andhra University.
Attended National workshop on "Sophistication in Scientific
instrumentation" held by R.S.I.C, I.I.T, Madras.
A BRIEF OUTLINE OF THE RESEARCH WORK DONE
The proposer has been engaged in the field of Organic Chemistry,
Macro-Molecular chemistry for the last 8 years. Development of
new polymer supports for solid phase synthesis, organic
synthesis and solid-phase combinatorial organic synthesis for
optimization of new drug lead structures. Design and synthesis
of unnatural amino acids and construction of peptidomimetic
compounds. Design, synthesis and structure activity correlation
studies of peptide antibiotics and other biologically active
peptide.
Selective cleavage of photosensitive chromospheres from
biologically important macromolecules like polypeptides for
conformational studies have also been research field of the
investigator. The conformational studies of polymer-bound
peptide and protein sequences in solution, the use of polymer
bound reagents in organic synthesis, complication of
cross-linked polymer supported aminoligands, etc have also been
carried out by the investigator
