National Seminar on "Computational Chemistry for the benefit of
Chemistry Faculty.
EXTENSION ACTIVITIES
A unit of Enviro Club under the sponsorship of Kerala Water
Authority is functioning in our college with the guidance of
faculty members of Chemistry Department. The main objective of
this club is in creating awareness among the public regarding
the environment pollutions like air pollution, water pollution
etc. For this purpose, the club is conducting a number of
extension activities like awareness campaign medical camps,
water quality testing etc. in different villages of Thalappilly
Taluk. The club provides facility for water quality monitoring
by testing the physical, inorganic, and biochemical parameters
to measure the quality of drinking water. The faculty members
involved in the activities of this club extend their help is
giving guidelines, advices and the remedial measures to be taken
to cut the environmental problems.
