Note: Tuition fee is to be paid in eight equal installments. The special fees, laboratory fee and caution deposit should be paid along with the first installment of tuition fee.
RULES OF PAYMENT OF FEES
1. Tuition fees will be collected in eight installments. The first installment including the special fees, laboratory, PTA and caution deposit will be collected on the date of admission. In case of fresh admission to a course, the tuition fee for the first term will be collected along with the special fees.
2. Subsequent installments will be collected on or before the seventh consecutive working day of each month.
3. If any student fails to pay the fees or special fees on the due date, he/she be liable to pay a fine Rs.5/- along with the fees on or before the tenth day after the due date. If the 10th day happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be counted as the due date.
4. If the fees with the fine Rs.5/- is not paid on or before the 10th day after the due date, an additional fine of Rs.5/- will have to be paid. If the fee and fine are not paid before the last opportunity given for payment of the installment, the name of the student will be removed from the rolls of the college with effect from the date following the expiry of this period and the student will not get the benefit of attendance also from the date of removal from the rolls. If the student is to be readmitted he/she has to apply for the special permission of the principal and will have to remit all the arrears of fees with fine. No readmission fee will be released in such cases of readmission. The readmitted student will get the benefit of attendance only from the date of readmission.
5. The last opportunity for payment of an installment of the fees mentioned in Para 4 above is defined as the last working day previous to the due date of the succeeding installment. But in the case of last installment (i.e., the fee due in February), the last opportunity is fixed as 5th March. If the 5th happened be a holiday, the last working day previous to such date will be considered as the last opportunity.
FEE CONCESSIONS
1. Students eligible for fee - concession should produce income
and community certificates from the concerned authorities at the
time of admission, failing which they will have to remit full
fees and caution deposit at the time of admission. Students
discontinuing
studies mid-way will not be eligible for fee concession from the
Dept, of Harijan Welfare. Those who are eligible for fee
concession on the basis of income need remit only the caution
deposit at the time of interview, will have to remit the full
fees if they fail to submit fee concession form on the notified
date.
2. Students desirous of availing full fee concession (KPCR / OBC
/ SC / ST / OEC) should apply for the same in the prescribed
form within one month from the date of admission.
3. Degree students whose family income is less than 25,000/- and
PG students whose family income is less than Rs. 42,000/- are
eligible for fee concession. They should produce income
certificate at the time of admission for claiming this
concession. |
