Sri Vyasa N.S.S. College, Wadakkanchery is the first institute of Higher Education in Thalapally Taluk of Thrissur District. The catchment areas of this college, if it may be permitted to use that term, is basically the north-western parts of this primarily agrarian part of the District. Needless to say, the students have a rustic, rural innocence. The institution aims at retaining this rural ambience in the college, so that the sophistries of urban culture do not mislead the students into wrong tracks. Parents are assured of parental protection for their wards. The tutorial system, one of the topmost priorities of this Institution, is an effective triangular bridge between the faculty, parents and students. The faculty and administration will travel the extra mile, if needed, to ensure that no student leaving the portals of this Institution regrets his or her tenure in this college.
