The Career Guidance and Placement Cell has been formed to Guide the students in developing job skills and job-search strategies required to achieve their career objectives. To keep up pace with the present stiff competition, the placement cell has undertaken several measures like organizing seminars, mock interviews, soft skills, communicative skills, personality development, and leadership skills for the students. The Mission of career guidance and Placement Cell is to train the students on industry needs and provide the best opportunities available. The Cell offers students guidance regarding different paths in higher education and other career opportunities apart from placement support.
The Aims of the placement Cell
To place the student in competitively good companies by identifying their knowledge skills, attitude matrices of every individual student, creating job profiles for them, identifying areas of training and various methods as per the training requirement, formulate sequence of activities to meet the training schedules for appropriate placement.
Activities of Career Guidance & Placement Cell
• Interacting with the Potential Recruiters.
• Organizing Resume Writing and Interview(s) skills development sessions.
• Coordinating all the activities related to Placement
• Organize activities concerning career planning
• To assist students to develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions
• Gathering information about job fairs and all relevant recruitment advertisements
• Coordinating with companies to learn about their requirements and recruitment procedures
• Identifying the needs and expectations of the companies to assist them in recruiting most suitable candidates
• Organizing pre-placement training/workshops/seminars for students
• To assist students for industrial training
• To provide resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
• To act as a link between students, alumni, and the employment community.
• To assist students in obtaining placement in reputed companies.
