RESEARCH |
Dr. Manu R is a seasoned researcher with a strong academic foundation in Chemistry. He earned his Doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Kerala in 2006, focusing on "Galvanization of Steel with Structurally Modified Hot-Dip Zinc Coatings." His research has contributed significantly to the field of materials science and corrosion protection. Following his doctorate, Dr. Manu continued his research journey as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Materials Engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. His work during this tenure advanced the understanding of materials and their applications.
As a Research Associate and Scientist's Pool Officer at CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi, Tamilnadu, Dr. Manu's research spanned nearly seven years. His primary interests encompass Materials Science, Nano-Functional Materials, and Electrochemistry. His work has broad implications, including the development of advanced
sensors, energy storage materials, and protective coatings. Dr. Manu R's dedication to research is complemented by his mentorship. Affiliated with the University of Calicut and
based at Sri Vyasa NSS College, he has guiding two students, further enhancing his impact in the academic community.
